Zayn Malik is best known for his newfound solo-career after leaving his old band, One Direction. The 23-year-old celeb has caused people all over the globe to swoon, so it made perfect sense when he started dating the oh-so-gorgeous and effortlessly cool model Gigi Hadid.

The two have seemed like the world’s most perfect couple for the past six months, but according to a source for the upcoming June 13 issue of Life & Style, the two have split.

According to the source, Zayn left Gigi so that he can “pursue the rockstar lifestyle.” This breakup is coming only a couple weeks after Gigi’s 21st birthday .

It will be interesting to see if the rumors about Zayn and Gigi are true, but also so sad!
