Power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are married!
The bride, 33, married the groom, 36, at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday, May 23rd. E! Online (which airs Keeping up with the Kardashians) had exclusive first photos of the wedding.
According to E! Online, Kim and Kanye exchanged traditional vows in front of friends and family and a pastor friend from Miami officiated the union. Kim wore a Givenchy Haute Couture wedding gown and Kanye matched with a Givenchy tuxedo. Baby North was apparently outfitted by Givenchy as well! We’re sure they’ll all wear those clothes again…:)
This is the third wedding for Kim, who married and later divorced music producer Damon Thomas and basketball player Kris Humphries. Kim and Kanye started dating in 2012.
Guests were treated to the party of a lifetime in Paris and the Palace of Versailles on Friday before being whisked away for Saturday’s wedding. According to TMZ, singer and friend Lana del Rey performed for free, dissing rumors that she was paid $2.8 million. “I would never let a friend pay me to sing at a wedding,” Lana said while signing autographs at LAX. Sounds like she’s a good friend!
Another note, Rob Kardashian did not attended the actual wedding. According to rumors, he got into it with Kim and left France before the family traveled on to Italy. The cause? Again, rumor has it that Kim was upset that Rob’s weight wouldn’t allow him to fit in the designer tux she selected. Khloe attempted to intervene, but Rob had enough and split. So sad.
Kim and Kanye are enjoying their honeymoon is Ireland. They reportedly took a mountain biking tour and stopped at a pub for a pint of Guinness where they left a huge 4-figure tip! Mr. and Mrs. West are staying in a swanky Irish castle of course…
Kim has also taken a big step and changed all her Social Media accounts to reflect her new status… Kim Kardashian West!
