Former Teen Mom star turned adult film actress Farrah Abraham recently made headlines when she publicly bashed her former castmates Catelyn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra after they announced that they were expecting.
Catelyn and Tyler were featured on MTV’s reality series 16 & Pregnant as they made the difficult decision to put their baby girl up for adoption. They later signed on for several more seasons of Teen Mom, where cameras followed them as they dealt with the emotional consequences of their decision.
Farrah, who is a single mom to 5-year-old daughter Sophia, expressed her disdain for Catelyn and Tyler’s news in an interview recently, saying that she can’t bear to watch her former castmates in their new lives.
“I wish them all the best, but it does make me very sad to still see them make poor choices,” she told Starcasm. “I can’t even tell you- if I had to go through all the same struggles again that I had to deal with the first time with Sophia- and I did not like that and I knew better- it would crush me. So I’m very sad the other Teen Moms don’t take that as seriously as they should.”
She went on to take back-handed jabs at the couple, bragging about her own financial stability and maturity while questioning theirs.
“If I did want to have a family, I would feel secure in showing my family as much love as possible,” she continued. “I bought my own house, I’m starting my own company, I’m doing other things, and I’m really just showing that I’m a stable, reliable, great parent. I take that seriously every day and it’s no joke. So I hope that with others, who are getting to be pregnant with their second child, that they have a home, that they have a stable financial situation, and that they have a supportive family.”
In response to the attack from Farrah, Catelyn took to Twitter to air her feelings about the situation.
“Huh bad choices?!? Hahaha! I did not make a so called ‘sex tape’ but WE make the choices? Seriously her comments made my night! ROFL!,” she tweeted.
Farrah quickly retorted back on Twitter, posting “Over #TeenMomDrama. Glad I moved on #DoorSlammed wish those #StillTeens all the best when your [sic] not a Teen #QuitPlayin.”
Not missing the opportunity to make a snarky comment, Tyler jumped in and responded to Farrah’s comment with a reference to her recent sex tape. “If only that tweet made sense,” he wrote. “If your [sic] going to attempt 2 be a smart*ss at least make it sound good #BackDoorSlammed.”
It seems like Catelyn and Tyler aren’t the only ones that are fed up with Farrah’s antics. As rumors swirled that MTV may be bringing back the original cast of Teen Mom for a reboot of the series, several sources have indicated that the other cast members are refusing to participate if Farrah is included.
Catelynn, Maci, and Amber have reportedly told MTV that they do not want to be associated with Farrah.
“They feel she set a bad example and doesn’t represent the network well. They don’t want their kids on a show where someone’s talking about sex toys,” an insider told US Weekly of the other moms.
While they often appeared to be friends and share a sisterhood amongst each other, it seems that the moms have never been fans of Farrah.
“Catelynn always thought Farrah was fake, right from the first season of Teen Mom. She was always desperate for fame,” an insider said. “Catelynn and Tyler will never invite her to their eventual wedding.”
This isn’t the first time that Farrah has publicly badmouthed her castmates. She has said that Catelynn and Tyler needed to do some growing up and mocked Catelynn for her weight issues.
In a recent interview, Farrah also took a jab at the parenting skills of the other moms.
“I think I am the best mom,” she recently said in an interview.
