It was way back in 1997 that Sean Combs released his first album under the stage name: Puff Daddy. Combs made many achievements while being Puff Daddy, including five Grammy nominations and one Grammy win. However, in 2001 Puff Daddy became P. Diddy. The new stage name only lasted four years, before he announced in 2005 he only wanted to be known only as Diddy. If your head isn't spinning just wait...he is now going back to Puff Daddy.
Sean Combs has changed his stage name multiple times, but is now going back to his first stage name: Puff Daddy. It's been 13 years since he went by that name. Luckily I will never have to speak his name to his face, because I would completely blank on what to call him.
