Scarlett Johansson just added another bullet point to an impressive resume.

Scarlett has earned over $3.3 billion in American domestic box offie revenue alone.

The top nine actors in front of Scarlett are Harrison Ford, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks, Robert Downey Jr., Eddie Murphy, Tom Cruise, Johnny Depp and Michael Caine.

Scarlet is a ways away in front of the other highest grossing actresses. Cameron Diaz is the second actress after Scarlett, but ranks as number 19 when looking at all actors. Helena Bonham Carter follows Diaz, coming in as number 26 on the list.

Scarlett has definitely made her way up to the top by a lot!

2012’s The Avengers has been Scarlett’s most successful film, which earned $623.4 million in the United States.

Scarlett has discussed the pay gap between men and women in Hollywood. In the May 2016 issue of Cosmopolitan, Scarlett said, “There’s something icky about me having that conversation unless it applies to a greater whole. I am very fortunate, I make a really good living, and I’m proud to be an actress who’s making as much as many of my male peers at this stage.”

But, Scarlett acknowledges that there is an issue.

“I think every woman has been underpaid,” Johansson told Cosmo. “But unless I’m addressing it as a larger problem, for me to talk about my own personal experience with it feels a little obnoxious. It’s part of a larger conversation about feminism in general.”

Interesting! What do you think about this issue of the Hollywood pay gap?
