“No one knows this: I had a miscarriage for those two weeks I took off,” she said. “It’s a very long story.”
While she was often late to shoots and completely missed other filming days, Lohan did not reveal the reasons why until her tear-filled breakdown in what will be the finale to the reality TV series.
“That’s why, on the show when it says, ‘She doesn’t want to come down,’ I couldn’t move; I was sick.” Lohan says. “Mentally, that messes with you.”
The series began in July 2013 as Lohan was leaving rehab and documented her move to New York City where she was working on rebuilding her acting career.
“I’ve cried so many times watching it,” she said. “Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment, and I can relate to that girl. Like, ‘Oh my God, this is really sad. Who’s helping her?” There was lot going on in my life then.”
While it has been a difficult journey for Lohan, she says filming the 8-part series has helped her to refocus and puts her addiction problems into perspective.
“Even if it’s not my intention to lose everything I’m now working for, that’s what this addiction will do to me. It’s a really f***ked-up disease, and it’s really scary,” Lohan says. “I’m in a good place, and I don’t want to mess with that. It feels good, and I’m happy. The biggest thing I’ve learned from this experience and doing this show is that my work ethic is different. I have that fire back in me.”
Lohan revealed no further information on who the father is or how far along she was in her pregnancy at the time of the miscarriage.
She did, however, admit that the list of 36 men that she allegedly slept with that was leaked to InTouch magazine last month is real. She claims creating the list was a private part of her treatment and the picture of the list was snapped by a former friend.
