Like most new moms-to-be, Keira Knightley has some concerns over motherhood. First and foremost is the fear of changing diapers if she happens to have a son.
“Somebody said to me the other day, the problem with boys is — sorry, this is horrible — but when you’re changing their nappies, you can get the wee in your face … I never knew that before, so it was terrifying,” the pregnant Oscar nominee says in an appearance Tuesday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Keira continues “And apparently they roll as well, so you have to try to stop them while you’re trying to grab something else in order to stop them peeing in your face. So that sounds quite interesting.”
The star of “The Imitation Game” hasn’t learned the sex of the baby.
Keira also talks about her birth plan, something every mother considers at some point in their pregnancy.
“Sorry, but what is the plan apart from to get it out?” she says. “There isn’t an option to keep it in, is there? So, I’m assuming my plan is to get it out. But apparently there’s more to the plan than that. I don’t know what that is. Still, my plan is to get it out. It will come out.”
Knightley’s husband James Righton has been enjoying the perks of his wife’s pregnancy, too.
“My husband’s having a great time. I’m eating for two and he’s drinking for two,” says Knightley.
“There’s a lot of free champagne, so he thinks because I’m not drinking the free champagne, he has to. So, all of it.”
Pregnant Keira Knightley is frustrated she will not be able to enjoy a boozy celebration at Sunday’s (Feb 22) Academy Awards ceremony.
The British star is nominated for the best supporting actress prize for her part in World War II drama “The Imitation Game”, but her mother-to-be status means she will be obstaining at the glamorous event.
She says, “I can’t drink! I’m up for an Oscar and I can’t drink at the Oscars! I went to the doctor, you have lots of doctors check-ups when you’re pregnant, and she was like ‘Any questions?’ and I was like, ‘Yes, when can I drink? Please! I just want a margarita!’
