Things took a scary turn during the filming of 'The Expendables 3!'
While filming an action scene for The Expendables 3 Jason Statham had to bail out of a truck before it plunged unexpectedly into the sea. The truck’s brakes failed and it fell 60 feet into the Dead Sea where it then broke apart.
What saved Jason? Surprisingly enough, his diving skills. Before he became a film star, he competed in springboard and platform diving. He also dived for England in the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland, New Zealand.
I would have never guessed that diving was his sport. I would have guessed Rugby or something along those lines.
