In 2008, Australian born Iggy Azalea was living in a US hotel room while creating the music portfolio that would one day launch her into stardom. She soon crossed paths with Maurice Williams, an older man who helped her pay for her living expenses and would later follow her to Atlanta, GA where he then stole files from her computer one their realtionship turned sour. Williams is now trying to make a quick buck off of the property he stole including a rumored sex tape. Iggy Azalea is striking back and using the legal system to go after him.
With the help of her record label, Iggy was able to claim profits from her early works and stop the sale of her unauthorized tracks. After being stopped, Williams claims he has possession of a sex tape featuring Iggy herself.
There has been some waffling back and forth on the truth of there actually being any explicit footage of the two together. One of the biggest rumors surrounding the scandal is that Iggy may have been a minor during the making of the video, which is waaay beyond illegal to sell. If there really is a sex tape, hopefully that thing gets destroyed. What one does in the privacy of their residence is their own business and shouldn’t be exploited.
Iggy has definitely worked very hard to get to where she is today, no crazy ex-boyfriend can take that away.
