A Los Angeles court has ordered the Oscar-winning actress to pay $16,000 per month in child support for daughter Nahla, 6, until she graduates from high school. (That’s just under $200,000 per year.) Aubry also gets $115,000 in retroactive support and $300,000 to cover his legal fees. The former couple share custody of their daughter and have bitterly fought over every aspect of her care.
Halle has since moved on from Gabriel and married actor Olivier Martinez and recently gave birth to a son, Maceo. Personally, I’ve always felt a little bad for Gabriel and feel he was used as a “sperm donor” more than anything else. Gabriel has fought hard to maintain custody of his daughter, passing up modeling gigs and falling into tax problems. Hopefully support from Halle will help his situation and maybe he and Halle can finally create a civil relationship.
