It is no wonder that Pepsi picked Bruno Mars to headline this year’s Super Bowl half time show. Bruno Mars has seen his biggest year yet, winning the Billboard 2013 artist of the year, boasting a multi-platinum album, and performing a sold out tour (Moonshine Jungle). Bruno was Grammy nominated for three awards including: “Record” and “Song of the Year” for his hit “Locked Out Of Heaven”, “Best Pop Vocal Album” for Unorthodox Jukebox, and “Best Pop Solo Performance.” Given the unprecedented year for Bruno Mars, the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime show is expecting over 108 Million fans to tune into this year’s performance. You can check out this YouTube video showing how Bruno Mars started singing and entertaining since the age of four:
Bruno recently invited the Red Hot Chili Peppers to join him on stage for the Halftime event. The Chili Peppers have sold more than 60 million albums, including five multi-platinum LPs, and won six Grammy Awards, including “Best Rock Album” for Stadium Arcadium, “Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group” for “Dani California,” “Best Rock Song” for “Scar Tissue,” and “Best Hard Rock Performance With Vocal” for “Give It Away.” The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are one of the most well-loved and sought after live tickets in history with an electrifying stage show that keeps their fan-base growing.
