While performing in Italy over the weekend, Adele stopped everything to shut down a fan who was filming her concert instead of enjoying her music ‘in real life.’ Watch the footage below.
“Yeah, I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with a video camera because I’m really here in real life. You can enjoy it in real life, rather than through your camera. Can you take your tripod down? This isn’t a DVD, this is a real show. I’d really like you to enjoy my show because there’s lots of people outside that couldn’t come in,” smartly stated the award-winning singer.
She’s 100% correct. Snapping a few photos is totally cool or capturing a quick video clip of your favorite song, but straight up breaking out a tripod is just annoying. It’s rude to those around you and to the artist themselves— totally against concert-going etiquette.
Adele handled the situation quite well.
