Has Naya Rivera been fired from Glee, on top of being newly single?
Naya Rivera apparently has not been getting along with Lea Michele, but that may not be the reason she won’t be appearing in the season 5 finale, which is set to on Tuesday. Naya was originally slated to be in the final episode, but has since been written out.
The initial rumor was: she was fired from Glee for feuding with Lea Michele. Rumor had it that Naya was fed up with Lea Michele being a diva and the center of the show. Their rocky relationship was said to escalate into a full blown argument that resulted in Naya Rivera being escorted off set.
The truth however now seems to be that Naya Rivera had been arguing with the production crew and was escorted off set when one of the arguments became too heated. Supposedly she had been complaining about Lea Michele during the blow up. Obviously Naya took it too far and therefore she was written out of the final episode of the current season. Her parking pass and trailer have both been revoked from the starlet.
At first it was believed Naya had been completely fired from the series, but it now seems she was only written out of this spring’s season finale. FOX claims they would happily allow her to be involved in the series’ final season, which is set to air this fall. (After all this fallout, who know if Naya would want to come back.)
Despite Naya Rivera’s current situation, she really needs to come back and finish out her character Santana’s story line for the sake of Glee fans. Santana is definitely the character we all love to hate.
