Stunning Dresses from the 2014 Met Gala

Check out some of the most elegantly dressed women of the annual Met Gala event.

It’s no wonder Blake Lively made multiple best dressed lists in this pink champagne hued Gucci gown. It perfectly shows off all her curves, however its long flowing layers keep it true to the glamorous Charles James theme. Her beautiful, soft blonde waves make this an overall iconic look.

The delicate details of Amy Adams’ Oscar de la Renta gown are definitely eye catching. I love the delicate folds of the fabric in the bodice, but I especially love how the fabric seems to flow like water down her back.

As a naturally tall beauty Charlize Theron does not need a dress to make her look any taller, however, this beautiful Dior gown definitely does just that. The long black lines down the sides of this floor length, light pink gown truly elongated her already svelte figure.

It is definitely shocking to see Sarah Silverman on the best dressed list, but this Zac Posen gown is simply stunning. The gown paired with her hair, make-up, and pose make this one of the most on theme ensembles of the evening.

Kendall Jenner’s height definitely helped her to pull off this elegantly shaped Topshop gown. I love the detail on the bodice, it adds an element of elegance to the look. I also love the shape of this mermaid cut dress, especially how the volume doesn’t really start until knee level.

Sarah Jessica Parker definitely brought her unique style to this year’s Met Gala. She graced the red carpet in a unique Oscar de la Renta gown. I don’t like the black boxes on the back, but do love Oscar’s signature in red across the bottom. I could not imagine any other person being able to pull of this one of a kind look.

Suki Waterhouse’s grey and light pink Burberry dress is edgy yet elegant. The choppy layers and unique color combination add an element of artistic edge; yet the tight, detailed bodice keep the gown elegant.
