Scarlett Johansson and her husband-to-be are expecting a BABY! She's already 5 months along, whoa!
We already knew that Scarlett Johansson was going to make one beautiful bride, but now she will have the added pregnant glow to make her even more stunning.
Johansson, who was not in attendance at last night’s Oscars ceremony despite her film Her’s nomination for Best Picture, first showed off her engagement ring last September. The couple has been very quiet about wedding plans since and kept their wedding plans out of the headlines almost entirely.
“I’m not doing any wedding planning,” Johansson said in January on Good Morning America. “Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor. I’m very happy. He’s my buddy,” she told People shortly after.
Despite the hush-hush wedding plans, Johansson has not held back when discussing her plans to have children.
“I would like to have my own family, that would be nice. They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else,” she said in December.
There may never be a right time to have kids, but what will become of Johansson’s role in the upcoming Avengers 2? Johansson is scheduled to begin filming on April 5, shortly after wrapping up her promotional tour for Captain America. But fret not! Sources say that the studio will fast track Johansson’s scenes to avoid having to squeeze a baby bump into a her catsuit costume.
“I am fortunate in that I have had a long career- 20 years- that has been very diverse,” Johansson has recently said. “So, you know, picking a time to plan a family feels like something that I could do and not feel as though I was missing out.”
Johansson will join a handful of other celebrities who are planning a wedding while pregnant.
Christina Aguilera
Just a week after announcing her engagement to boyfriend of three years Matthew Rutler, Christina Aguilera announced that she is also expecting. Aguilera has a six year old son, Max, from her first marriage to Jordan Bratman. “He’s the love of my life, and I adore him,” Aguilera has gushed about her son so it only makes sense that she will be a mother again. It is rumored that Aguilera will wait until after baby to tie the knot.
Olivia Wilde
In October, Olivia Wilde and fiance Jason Sudeikis announced that they were expecting their first child just a few months after their engagement. “He’s so god with kids. I’m open-minded about how many, but three is like a little party,” Wilde had told Marie Claire earlier in the year. They are expected to fast track their wedding plans.
Ginnifer Goodwin
Ginnifer Goodwin and Once Upon A Time costar Josh Dallas broke the news that they were expecting just one month after going public with their engagement. The couple has continued filming of their hit show, while disguising Goodwin’s growing baby bump with creative costuming on set.
