Robin Thicke yet again publicly pleads for Paula Patton's affections.
Robin Thicke may want to consider hiring a new public relations team. The ill-advised crooner received many negative, hateful tweets during his #AskThicke@VHS Twitter Q&A on July 1st. Bad. Idea. It’s apparent, there’s no sympathy for Thicke. Making references to the song Blurred Lines, one tweeter asked if the line on the divorce papers is a blurred line? Ouch! Thicke’s Twitter account ignored such questions by responding with the tweet #SongsToGetHerBack.
Patton and Thicke split in February after 9 years of marriage. As a result, Thicke launched himself into a full-on campaign to win her back with his new ablum “Paula”, dedicating concerts to her, and filming the video “Get Her Back”. Thus far, all have been unproductive, very public, attempts to win back his wife’s affections. Throughout such hoopla, Paula Patton has remained silent.
On June 29th, Thicke performed at the BET Awards introducing himself, “Good evening, my name is Robin Thicke, I’d like to dedicate this song to my wife, and say, ‘I miss you, and I’m sorry.’ This is called Forever Love.” Thicke struggled with his emotions during the tear filled rendition.
It’s none of my business, but since Thicke’s actions have been very public, I feel compelled to offer some unsolicited advice. Mr. Robin Thicke, from this moment on, you may want to consider becoming more private with your attempts to win back your wife. Does anyone else feel he needs to change his strategy and steer clear of continued public appeals to Patton? So sad.
