Rapper Eminem Goes Above and Beyond for Cancer-Stricken Teen

Eminem dropped everything to ensure a teen's wish came true!

Before passing away from a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer, 17-year-old Gage Garmo got his big wish granted and met his idol, Eminem.

Michigan-based charity the Rainbow Connection helped arrange for Eminem, 42, to visit Garmo last Sunday in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The rapper and the young fan discussed music and football while sitting in the family’s home. Eminem dropped everything he had scheduled in order to make Garmo’s dream a reality.

Sadly, Garmo passed away on Monday, the day after Eminem’s visit. Thanks to the Rainbow Connection and a huge social media push by Garmo’s friends, the young man’s dream was realized just in time.

A candlelight vigil was held to remember Garmo on his high school’s football field and his community wears yellow in remembrance of their friend.

Friday would have marked Garmo’s 18th birthday.

Rest in peace, Gage.
