Mean Girls Musical Headed Our Way. Thank You, Tina Fey

Tina Fey confirms that a Mean Girls musical is in the works.

Tina Fey announced Wednesday night that she and her husband Jeff Richmond are in the process of adapting her hit 2004 movie into a Broadway Musical during a Times Talk for her newest film Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. 

There is still no sign of a release date and Tina Fey jokes that “it’s only… years away,” but it is nevertheless in the works.

As far as anticipation levels of Mean Girls fans goes, the limit does not exist.
