After winning some $$$ in a lawsuit, Lindsay Lohan is livin' the glam life in Cannes!
The actress, who hailed a private jet from London using the app Uber, arrived in France for the famed Cannes Film Festival this week and documented her adventures via Instagram, giving us a glimpse into her life.
She kicked off the weekend with this selfie from the private jet, writing on Twitter “Had the most amazing flight with #UBERJET. Excited for #Cannes2014 @Goodwill_Jets @Uber_Cannes xx.”
She later followed it up with another selfie, this time appearing topless alongside her stylist Manny. “#isCANNESQuicheENUF ?! #ily @mannuk,” she wrote.
In the early morning hours, she posted another selfie, this time squinting in the bright sunshine and tweeting “good morning #Cannes2014 Overwhelming here to say the least! We all NEED #MEDITATION & to BE HERE NOW.”
Later, Lindsay headed to a party aboard a multimillion dollar yacht for the tenth anniversary party of Participant Media. She was swarmed by paparazzi, trying to catch a glimpse of her all-gold glittering ensemble, causing her to almost tumble down the ramp.
“Scared of the #paparazzos leaving yacht in #cannesfilmfestival,” she later wrote.
The trip to Cannes came on the heels of news that Lindsay had settled an ongoing lawsuit with her former leggings company 6126. The judge awarded her $150,000 in damages.
The 27-year-old actress had filed a suit for $1.1 million dollars, claiming that she had not received royalties she was owed for the use of her name. The company filed a countersuit, claiming the starlet had failed to adequately promote the products, making it difficult for them to sell the products.
Last week, Lindsay had told the court that she was too distressed to respond to the lawsuit. “I have been overwhelmed since leaving rehab and dealing with my sobriety and a miscarriage,” she wrote.
