I bet Kim Kardashian had some words for Kris Jenner after this awkward event...
The reality star attended the Austrian event with Viennese millionaire and mall developer Richard Lugner. Lugner, 81, has paid a variety of stars to attend the ball as his date over the years, including Lindsay Lohan, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton. ($500,000 to be that special date…)
The trouble for Kim began when Lugner reportedly grabbed at her and tried to get her alone without her security detail. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians camera crew is said to have caught it on film.
Lugner was unimpressed with Kim, calling her ‘annoying’ for not sticking to the agreed-upon rules for the evening. “She’s filming and so she doesn’t want to have me around,” Lugner said. “The guest should be with me and not anywhere else that is not agreed upon.”
Kim was later approached by a man wearing ‘blackface’ who reportedly was mocking Kanye West. The man was later revealed to be stand up comedian Christ Stephan, who has already posted an apology on his Facebook page, insisting that it was not meant to be a racist statement.
In an interview later in the evening, Kim was finally provoked to leave when a man offered to dance with Kim “if the orchestra played N—— in Vienna,” a reference to Kanye West’s “N—— in Paris.”
Despite Kris Jenner keeping a smile during the interview, Kim is seen looking down and fidgeting uncomfortably as the statement is made. The pair made their early exit from the opera shortly after the interview.
It’s hard to feel bad for Kim… but this event sounds horrid and she was definitely mistreated.
