Kesha has returned home after time away in Illinois. She's changed her name and hopefully her self-perception!
Singer Kesha is out of rehab and is looking happy and healthy and making new changes like dropping the stylized “$” in her name.

Kesha, who just turned 27 on March 1st, had been in Timberline Knolls treatment center in Illinois for the past two months after suffering from an eating disorder. The star arrived at LAX airport wearing a jaunty white sweatshirt that stated “IMA SURVIVOR.”

Kesha suffered from anorexia and bulimia, rumored to have started when her music producer Dr. Luke began pressuring her to lose weight. Kesha’s mother, Pebe Sebert, told People magazine Dr. Luke referred to Kesha as a “refrigerator.”

Kesha celebrated her return to Los Angeles by pairing her statement sweatshirt with black skinny jeans, black Converse Chuck Taylors and rainbow hair. Soon after arrival, she stopped by the beach, posting a picture on Instagram with the caption “had to go play in the sand.”

On Friday, Kesha, from her handle @kesharose, tweeted “Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me❤️️”
