Jodie Foster tied the knot with Alexandra Hedison! Congrats!
Jodie Foster met Alexandra Hedison some time back in the summer of 2013. The two have kept their relationship very private and rarely went out in public together. Hedison is a photographer and actress, her most recent acting role was in Showtime’s The L Word. The newlyweds both seem to be donning small bands on their left ringer fingers. Foster’s rep did confirm the two were wed over the weekend, no other details have been released.
Jodie Foster was with her previous girlfriend Cydney Bernard for nearly 20 years. They even had two children together, Charles 15 and Christoper 12, however the couple never married. During Jodie Foster’s 2013 Golden Globe speech she gave a poignant thank to Cydney, even though the two split back in 2008:
“There is no way I could ever stand here without acknowledging one of the deepest loves of my life, my heroic co-parent, my ex-partner in love but righteous soul sister in life, my confessor, ski buddy, consigliere, most beloved BFF of 20 years, Cydney Bernard…”
Interesting note, Alexandra once dated Ellen DeGeneres. Small world.
