It’s Slammer Time for Chris Brown

Chris Brown will remain in jail until his April 23rd hearing.

R&B singer Chris Brown, 24, has been in major trouble with the law ever since getting hit with a felony assault charge stemming from his violent  attack on Rihanna in 2009. Brown was arrested on March 14, 2014 in Miami for a warrant that was issued by probation officers because Brown was kicked out of rehab. The Florida facility was treating him for anger management, substance abuse and issues related to bi-polar disorder.  TMZ states that he violated facility rules: staying away from female patients and submitting to drug tests.

The judge jailed Brown due to his actions and comments he made while at the treatment facility such as, “I am good at using guns and knives.” After being held in jail for the weekend, a judge sentenced him to remain in jail without bail until his April 23rd hearing.

In the meantime, a Washington D.C. jury must decide if the singer committed criminal assault against a man outside of a local hotel. So Breezy might be heading East to face the music if the Los Angeles judge allows him to leave prison. With how things have been going, Brown may be sitting in prison for up to 4 years…
