Harrison Ford, now 73 years old, has had one of the most successful acting careers out there. His first appearance on the big screen came at the age of 31, and he has since starred in 31 movies, including the ever-popular Star Wars and Indiana Jones series’. And he’s not quite done yet! Harrison Ford will be starring in the 5th Indiana Jones movie coming summer of 2019.

In 1977 at the age of 35, Harrison Ford was sling-shotted into fame when he starred as Han Solo in the Star Wars: A New Hope. This was his second debut on the big screen, but undoubtedly the most important in pushing his career to the level it is today.

Four years and 3 movies later, Harrison Ford starred as Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark at the age of 39, beginning yet another series that Ford will play a leading role in. At this point, his fame is beginning to skyrocket.

The 3rd Indiana Jones movie, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, debuted 8 years later with Harrison Ford in the leading role once again. He was 47 years old and 13 movies in to his career at this point, and not even close to quitting!
His most recent appearance on the big screen was kind of a big deal. Just this past December at the age of 73, Harrison Ford thrilled Star Wars fans with his reappearance as Han Solo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Since then, the world had not seen Han Solo on the big screen since 1983 in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
