On August 15, 1990 actress Jennifer Lawrence was born in Louisville, Kentucky and changed the world as we know it. Her breakout role in 2010 ‘s Winter’s Bone brought her critical acclaim and led her to larger roles. Lawrence garnered wider recognition by playing the mutant Mystique in 2011’s X-Men: First Class— a role she has reprised since. Her starring role as Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games film franchise has established her as the highest-grossing action heroine of all time.
