Iggy Azalea went on a rant on Thursday, April 27 after a fan on Twitter referred to her as “Becky” from Beyoncé’s new song.
Beyoncé released a visual album on Saturday, April 24 entitled Lemonade. The lyrics in question were from the song “Sorry,” which are “he better call Becky with the good hair.” Azalea quickly clarified for her fans in a tweet, “Don’t ever call me a Becky.”
But Beyoncé’s fans accused Azalea of calling Beyoncé a racist.
Azalea went into further detail saying she didn’t mean to cast any shade on Bey and that she loves her.
