Actress Blake Lively certainly looked gorgeous on the red carpet in Cannes, where she has been for the past week and a half promoting her upcoming film ‘Café Society’. But the actress has encountered a ton of backlash after posting a picture of her on Instagram, proclaiming her “L.A. Face With An Oakland Booty,” in lieu of the song ‘Baby Got Back’.
Twitter called out Blake for her caption, which holds racial connotations:
With how gentrified Oakland has become, Blake Lively kind of does have an LA face with an Oakland booty.

@thinkovision Also, LA is 47.5% Latin@ so "LA face" doesn't mean what Blake Lively thinks it means.

Others don’t think that Blake’s caption is a big deal:
I refuse to worry about Blake Lively posting a sir mix a lot lyric with a picture of her backside. The revolution does not start here.

Blake Lively "accused of cultural appropriation" after posting a pic w/a caption of Baby Got Back lyrics? You all really have nothing to do
